Shon
Grimes is a Nidan; second degree black belt in Kokikai Aikido. He has
been practicing this style of martial art for fourteen years. He has
taught as a guest instructor in Seattle and South Everett Kokikai. He enjoys the good health and strength
this gentle and powerful martial art provides. He started his own practice in 2007 at the Everett Family YMCA receiving the 2008 Volunteer of the Year award. He now teaches at the Radiant Light Aikido Dojo in the Kindred Leaning Center located in the Historic Everett Public Market Building.
